Night. Rain. One car on an empty circuit. Something keeps appearing in the mirror, closer each time, until the driver stops racing and starts running. The pits should be safe. They are not.

The whole film runs on the rear-view mirror. First a point of light. Then one car. Then three. Then a whole pack, then one right on his gearbox. Every step comes a little sooner and a little closer, so the audience starts checking the mirror before the driver does.
Camera positions come from real F1 night onboards and racing films, not generic "AI ad" angles. Every shot has its own lighting rule — cold street lamps, one warm accent, rain in the backlight — and the car is built from a locked design sheet so it's the same car in every shot.
A mirror full of identical cars was built as still key frames first, then animated. For the ending the video model kept drawing a face where there shouldn't be one, so every take was checked a tenth of a second at a time and cut on the movement, where nothing slips through.
A continuous engine bed, passes that sweep left to right, a heartbeat that drops out at the worst moment, and silence before the reveal. All music and effects are from Epidemic Sound; the image is upscaled and graded as one piece so it holds up on a big screen.
